......A hush fell on the angels, however, when they realized that God had set up a meeting with Moses down on Mt. Sinai.

Song: The Perfect Ten (Large numbers are held up at appropriate times during the song)

The angels watched as God's chosen people received the law that He had given them,
and the angels watched as they broke those laws into a million pieces.
They continually tried,
and they continually failed.
The sacrifices for sins were plentiful--
the blood ran through the years.
The priest faced The Lord alone in the Holy of Holies, and the voice of their contrition
rose up to heaven on the swirling smoke of their burnt offerings.

Song: Come Into the Holy of Holies

There was great excitement in heaven when God's people were on the edge of The Promised Land.
"This is it!" the angels said.
"They'll be there by nightfall and then God's great promise can begin!"
"What are they waiting for?", they wondered.
"Do they really need this report from Joshua?
Is that fear in their eyes?
So what if the people there are a bit on the tall side?
Don't they yet know of the size of their God?"

Song: Two Said "Go"
(Puppets on a stick can be used to represent the 12 men;
raise the 10 puppets and raise the 2 puppets when "ten and "two are mentioned)

It wasn't long before the angels grew weary of the Story of Man.
They had watched diligently, and even participated, when the Creator had a message to be delivered,
or when someone needed a good wrestling with,
but they began to feel deeply the heartache that Man brought.
They couldn't understand how Man could continually forget The Creator and all He had done for them.
Didn't they know by now that God can do anything?.......
